Creating a New Administrator Connection

To set up a new administration manager connection

  1. Select Setup administration manager connection from the iView window click Next and the Profile Name window displays.
  2. In the Name field, enter the name you wish to give your new administration profile, click Next and the Profile Server Configuration window displays.
  3. In the Host field, enter the host IP Address of the server this profile will connect to.
  4. In the Port field, verify the default port is set to 50000 then click Next and the Administration Login window displays.
  5. In the Type field, select System.
  6. In the UserName field, enter admin.
  7. In the Location field, verify the default location is grayed out or set to default.
  8. In the Tenant field, verify the default tenant is grayed out or set to default.
  9. In the Password field, verify the default password is set to Password1!
  10. Note: If the default Evolution PBX password has been changed, the iView admin password will also change to match it (upon the next reboot of iView). 
    
  11. Click Finish and the new administration manager connection connects to iView and displays in the Administration tab.
  12. Note:  If the connection does not connect automatically, click View / Administration from the main menu then right click on the name of the profile you wish to use and click Connect.
